POS Cashier

Job Summary Responsiblefor receiving payment by cash, cheque, credit cards, vouchers, orautomatic debits and issuance of receipts, refunds, credits, orchanges due to customers. Receive and disburse cash and cheques andmaintain proper recording of cash transactions to manage the dailyinflow and outflow of cash of the company. Job Responsibilities 1Principal Accountabilities Processes “duebacks” on a timely basis. Maintains all cashiercontracts. Maintains an adequate supply of cash/change and providescash/change to all departments as needed. Prepares Cash Over/Shortreports on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. Checks/reviewsRequest for Payment (RFP) including supporting documents Ensuresprocessing cost per accounts receivable invoice is within thePercentile variance. Ensures accuracy of accounts receivable.Ensures accurate percentage of electronic invoices. Manages billingerrors. Ensures that a number of invoices disputed are within thePercentage variance. Maintains an adequate supply of cash/changeand provides cash/change to all departments asneeded.
