Take the lead in the delivery of PR and Events activities of the company. Develop and maintain the company’s image and identity through the use of social media such as Flickr, Twitter, LinkedIn and Wikipedia. Monitor, update and enhance the performance of the existing website of the company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: PR & Events: • Follow up and finalize with suppliers Public Relations and Events requirements and ensure proper implementation.
• Establish good relationship and networking with stakeholders, colleagues, clients and the media.
• Keeps track of media updates and trends including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs for new market opportunities.
• Manage all aspects of events and conferences: scouting, calendar, logistics, booth/space requirements and design, signage, staff presence, collateral and support to deliver events on time and within budget.
• Manage special events including press conferences and promotional events.
• Manage supplier relationships to develop and deliver events.
• Conducts onsite inspections during preparations for special events and activities.
• Raise any problems/issues regarding briefs, tight timings, missing information, etc.
• Handle the content and periodic publishing of the internal newsletter. Website: • Liaise with suppliers to implement new web pages, update content & some graphic design elements, and enhance search engine optimization for optimum site ranking.
• Day-to-day management of the website.
• Provide tracking reports, statistics and monitor analytics.
• Liaise with IT department and web development supplier to ensure optimal page loads and uptime
• Preempt and address potential issues with the hosting company and/or email service provider
