Production Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Production Operator to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating production equipment, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards. The role involves working in challenging field conditions and adhering to strict operational procedures to support uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor oil & gas production equipment such as separators, pumps, compressors, and valves.
  

• Perform routine checks and adjustments to maintain optimal production flow and equipment performance.
  

• Monitor process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.) and report anomalies immediately.
  

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, work permits, and emergency procedures.
  

• Perform minor troubleshooting and assist maintenance teams in routine and breakdown maintenance.
  

• Record production data, meter readings, and daily activity reports accurately.
  

• Ensure safe handling of hydrocarbons and chemicals used in the production process.
  

• Participate in safety drills, toolbox talks, and compliance audits.
  

• Work closely with engineers and field supervisors to execute production plans and optimization strategies.
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / ITI / Technical Certificate (Mechanical, Electrical, or Process preferred).
  

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production operations within the Oil & Gas industry (onshore/offshore).
  

• Sound knowledge of oilfield production operations, equipment, and control systems.
  

• Familiarity with PTW (Permit to Work) systems, HSE practices, and emergency response procedures.
  

• Physically fit and willing to work in rotational shifts, remote locations, or offshore platforms if required.
  

• Strong team collaboration, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  

Preferred Certifications:

• H2S Awareness & BA Training
  

• Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) – if offshore
  

• First Aid / Fire Safety Certification
  

• Confined Space / Working at Height (as applicable)
