Project Controls Co-ordinator

Objectives:
* In conjunction with the Project Manager and Area Commercial Manager, to ensure that the commercial planning and risk management of the project is carried out to optimise sustainable business profitability.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Administer WIP to Invoice
* Administer Invoice Tracking
* Administer A/R aging
* Liaise with planner scheduler for WIP v.s. Worktracking for all specific legwork
* Liaise with Cost Control Administrator for all financial needed legwork
* Administration of the CICS system with periodic status report generation.
* Liaise with Dubai business analyst to retrieve all global project specific information
* Administer & Track KPI record scorecard
* Administer and issue Variation Orders, maintain V.O. register and track V.O.s
* Maintain the Risk Management System
* Assisting the Project Manager in compiling monthly reports on performance and attending the Project Review.
* To ensure that Hyder are adhering to agreed Client/Project Manager project protocols and procedures and resolving non compliance issues

Minimum Qualifications:
* Must have a Bachelors degree
* Commercial related qualification/experience is an advantage;
* Must be a Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
* With at least 3 - 5 years in a similar role;
* An engineer with proven commercial experience or former QS background
* With experience of entering into agreements and a skilled negotiator with the Client;
* With a proven track record in financial and commercial matters; Candidate Profile:
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* An ability to identify potential problems and propose solutions
* Ability to team build, organise staff and prioritise works
* Ability to work well within and lead a site based team of mixed nationalities
* Experience in Microsoft applications
* Ability to build rapport with work colleagues.
