Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Project Manager in Qatar. Our client, Danem Engineering Works W.L.L, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering professional capable of managing complex engineering projects from planning through successful completion. Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical/engineering projects from initiation through execution, commissioning, and handover.
  
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and execution strategies.
  
• Monitor project progress, costs, timelines, quality requirements, and key deliverables.
  
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractor, and site activities.
  
• Ensure project activities comply with applicable HSE, quality, contractual, and technical requirements.
  
• Manage project risks, variations, delays, and corrective actions to protect project objectives.
  
• Conduct progress reviews and communicate project status to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and ensure timely resolution of technical and execution issues.
  

Required Skills

1. Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, monitor, and close large engineering projects.
   
2. Mechanical Engineering: Strong technical foundation for managing mechanical project scope and deliverables.
   
3. Planning & Scheduling: Ability to manage milestones, resources, dependencies, and project timelines.
   
4. Cost & Contract Control: Understanding of project budgets, variations, commercial obligations, and cost performance.
   
5. HSE & Quality Management: Ability to maintain project execution in line with required safety and quality standards.
   

Preferred Skills

• EPC/project execution experience in large engineering environments.
  
• Strong stakeholder, subcontractor, and multidisciplinary team coordination.
  
• Project management certification such as PMP is desirable.
  

Work Experience Requirements

The posting specifies 18–20 years of experience. Candidates should have substantial experience relevant to mechanical engineering and project management, with senior-level exposure to managing engineering/project execution activities.
