Job description
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to oversee and lead our cybersecurity projects, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives aimed at safeguarding our organization's digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing cybersecurity projects, information protection projects, and cybersecurity programs, coupled with exceptional project management skills and a deep understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budget constraints. Team Management: Build, motivate, and lead project teams of various sizes, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication channels. Methodology Expertise: Apply formal project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile, as appropriate to the project requirements, ensuring adherence to best practices. Change and Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, while effectively managing change to minimize disruptions and ensure project success. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including clients and internal teams, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Technical Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office and ServiceNow effectively for project management tasks, documentation, and reporting. Certification Maintenance: Maintain Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification in good standing, ensuring continuous professional development in project management practices. Information Security Knowledge: Leverage a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to guide project decisions and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned, to facilitate knowledge transfer and improve future project execution.
Qualifications
Previous Experience: Minimum of five years of experience managing cybersecurity projects, information protection projects, and cybersecurity programs. Education: Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a related field. Native proficiency in Arabic and English (speaking, reading, and writing a must) Methodology Experience: Demonstrated experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies in the information systems area. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification in good standing. Communication Skills: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively. Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ServiceNow. Organizational Skills: Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. Change and Risk Management: Experience in change management and risk management within project environments. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see projects through to completion. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities while maintaining focus on project objectives.
