Job Description - Qatar - Operations Executive (Customer Service)

Role Summary:



We have an exciting opportunity for a Operations Executive (Customer Service) to join our team in Qatar. 



Contract: Permanent


Location: Doha, Qatar (On Site)



Key Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding freight forwarding services (air, sea, and land). 

  • Coordinate end-to-end freight forwarding operations for air, sea, and land shipments. 

  • Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs brokers

  • Handle booking, documentation, customs clearance, and cargo tracking.

  • Coordinate and monitor import/export shipments from origin to destination.

  • Provide timely updates to customers on shipment status, delays, and documentation requirements.

  • Arrange transportation and shipment delivery for LCL, FCL& AIR shipments.

  • Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, COO, commercial invoices, and packing lists.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues professionally and efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

  • Support the sales and operations teams with customer-related information and service feedback.

  • Prepare reports on shipment performance, costs, and KPIs.

  • Handling vessel clearance and operation.



Who You Are:




  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree.

  • Relevant industry experience.

  • Basic knowledge of shipping and logistics.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Ability to produce clear and accurate documentation.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

  • Holds a valid driver’s license.
