QC Engineer (Welding) - Qatar

We are looking for a highly experienced QC Engineer – Welding to join our client’s projects in the Oil & Gas sector. The role requires hands-on experience in refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizer projects, shutdowns/turnarounds, fabrication, erection of storage tanks, piping, and structural steel works.

• Industry: Oil & Gas / EPC / Contracting

• 10–12 years of relevant QC/Welding experience in Oil & Gas projects.

  Experience in Contracting companies background preferred

• Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

• Salary Package: Full package – FAT included

• Proven experience working with contracting companies in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor welding quality control systems in line with project specifications.

• Conduct welding inspections, NDT coordination, and WPS/PQR review.

• Supervise fabrication and erection of tanks, piping, and structural works.

• Ensure compliance with international welding codes and standards.

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation and reports.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors on welding-related matters.

Eligibility Criteria

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E/B.Tech).

• 10–12 years of relevant QC/Welding experience in Oil & Gas projects.

• Strong background in:

  • Refineries, Petrochemicals, Fertilizer Projects

  • Shutdowns & Turnarounds

  • Fabrication & Erection of Storage Tanks, Piping & Structural Steel

  • CSWIP Certification – Mandatory.
