Quality Controller - Steelworks

Inspect and monitor steel fabrication activities including cutting, fitting, welding, and assembly to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Verify materials, dimensions, and workmanship as per approved drawings, ITPs, and quality procedures.

Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and QA/QC teams for inspections, punch list clearance, and handover activities.

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and quality records.

Support internal and client audits and ensure adherence to applicable codes and standards.

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering or relevant field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in quality control for steelworks or fabrication projects.

Strong knowledge of steel fabrication standards, welding inspection, and QA/QC documentation.

Ability to read fabrication drawings and specifications.
