Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:
Radiology Technologists perform diagnostic imaging exams, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and mammograms. They work under the supervision of radiologists to help diagnose and treat medical conditions. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Preparation:
Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort.
Position patients correctly for imaging exams.
Maintain patient confidentiality. Imaging Procedures: Operate imaging equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality.
Follow protocols for different types of imaging procedures. Image Processing: Process and review images for clarity.
Collaborate with radiologists to determine if additional images are needed. Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain imaging equipment.
Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments and manage workflow.
Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information. Qualifications: Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
