Rail Transit Construction Project Manager

SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES

• Consultswith senior management in developing on-going railway improvementprograms, by formulating conceptual project plans andspecifications so as to best allow for simultaneousmulti-discipline improvements and conformance to applicable fundingagency requirements.
• Prepares budgets,schedules, program and force account plans for proposedprojects.
• Prepares Requests for Proposals,manage consultant contracts, and coordinate design concepts andreviews with Operations Departments.
• Providesliaison with appropriate Federal, State, City and local governmentagencies and internally to coordinate design requirements withconsultant design.
• May represent the Authoritywith Special Interest Groups or local committees, and presentdesigns at public meetings.
• Has responsibilityfor maintaining, forecasting, and maintaining budgets and manpowerrequirements.
