Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar.

As a key member of our hospitality organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by managing reservations efficiently and providing exceptional service.

  • Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
  • Provide detailed information about room types, rates, availability, and hotel amenities to potential guests
  • Process reservations accurately and efficiently using our Resa-web.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, revenue management, and front desk teams to optimize occupancy rates and maximize accommodation sales
  • Maintain up-to-date information on various distribution channels and booking platforms
  • Generate and analyze weekly reports to track reservation trends and performance metrics
  • Assist in managing group bookings and special requests
  • Ensure all reservation-related invoicing processes are complete and accurate
  • Stay informed about hotel promotions, local events, and attractions to provide comprehensive information to guests
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation software
  • Strong knowledge of reservation procedures and hospitality industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting purposes
  • Familiarity with online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDS) is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
