Rigger

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, select, and use lifting gear such as slings, shackles, hooks, spreader bars, and chains.
  

• Signal and guide crane operators and lifting personnel during lifting operations.
  

• Secure loads properly to ensure safe lifting, movement, and positioning.
  

• Conduct pre-use inspection of rigging and lifting equipment; report defects or damage.
  

• Ensure lifting operations follow lifting plans, load charts, and HSE regulations.
  

• Work closely with crane operators, lifting supervisors, and safety officers during operations.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Certificate / Technical Trade Certification.
  

• Certified Rigger (Level 1/2/3 as per project requirements).
  

• Minimum 3–8 years of experience in rigging and lifting operations in oil & gas, construction, or industrial projects.
  

• Strong knowledge of load charts, lifting gear inspection, and safe lifting practices.
  

• Familiar with OSHA, LOLER, ASME B30.5, or other international lifting standards.
