Strategic: • The Senior Sales andDistribution Manager will develop a business plan and salesstrategy for the Qatar market that ensures attainment of thecompany revenue targets and future profitability. • Ensurethat all sales strategies are aligned with the Qatar Rail branddevelopment to improve sales growth. • Planning andcarrying out sales and distribution activities to agreed budgets,sales volumes, values and timescales. • Define the keystrategic requirements to execute the sales and distributionstrategy and support the development of the commercial platform(digital and traditional). • Undertake research whenrequired and initiates and coordinates the development of new fareproducts and services to achieve revenue growth. • Usingmarket research drives revenue growth across multiple channels.• Reporting progress against plans on a monthly basis.Operational: • Work with the MoTC in Qatar to develop thepricing strategy and fare products and ensure Fares and Pricinglevels are agreed and communicated well in advance. •Ensure Fare products business rules to be tested through varioussales channels as required. • Maintain and update the fareproducts in the distribution systems. • Use the CustomerRelationship Management (CRM) to develop the customer base throughtargeted promotional activities. • Work with Qatar RailCorporate Comms to ensure a joined up approach to internal andexternal communication. • Develop ad hoc partnerships withdistribution partners to maximize the revenue opportunities.• Work with Business Development to agree marketingactivities for B 2 B channels. • Support the delivery ofsales activities in stations defining and updating the salesprocedures and training contents. Key essentials: •Minimum 10 years of delivering professional Sales and or Commercialenvironment. • Experience of working in the transportationindustry highly desirable. • Experience in GCC in managingsales activities in GCC countries (desirable and not mandatory).• Experience of working in a startup or green fieldorganisations. • A proven track record and successfulworking experience in traditional and digital media. •Experience in bringing new services and products through launch anddelivery
