An experienced Sales Associate with proven experience in the sales of FMCG, specifically seafood, confectionery, beverages, specialty foods, berry and berry powder, Mycelium and Premium Mushroom, red meat and white meat.
- Directing the actual distribution of company product to the customer
- Coordinating sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Benchmarking sales operating procedures
- Analyzing sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitorthe preferences of customers
- Responsible for, negotiating, and selling products to meet the needs of our clients within the GCC territories
- This role requires a strong understanding of the global seafood and broader food markets (FMCG)
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and buyers
- Your proven sales history/record would include the retail, wholesale and hospitality and tourism sectors
TASKS
- You will hit the ground running. Your proven sales experience will be instrumental in securing sales
- Determine price schedules and discount rates
- Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
- Oversee regional and local sales trends
- Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
Sourcing:
- Research, identify and engage potential buyers, locally in the GGC, the East Asia, SoutheastAsia, Asia-Pacific, the United States and the United Kingdom
- Evaluate buyer capabilities, build and develop pricing structures with the executive team, and build product offerings to ensure a good fit for our customer base
- Maintain a comprehensive database of qualified buyers
Sales and Client Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
- Understand client needs and preferences to recommend suitable products
- Negotiate competitive pricing and contract terms
- Provide ongoing communication and market updates to clients
- Track client orders and ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
Market Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and global seafood and food industry developments we represent.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and strategize with the executive team regarding engaging and communicating these to clients
- Analyze competitor activity and develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage
Reporting and communication:
- Ensure regular reporting and communications are drafted and submitted to the executive team
- Build and maintain accessible customer profiles and database
Logistics and Documentation:
- Coordinate logistics for product shipment, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and proper handling procedures and SOP
- Prepare and manage necessary documentation for international trade, including invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
Travel:
- May be required to travel domestically or internationally to meet with suppliers, attend industry events, or visit client locations

Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience and sales networks in seafood and food sales,brokerage, or a related field. (preferred)
- Strong understanding of the global seafood and FMCG market, including different species, product types, and sourcing regions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven presentation skills

- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry software (e.g., trade finance software)

- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., English, Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin) is a plus
