Sales Associate

We are looking for an experienced andhands-on IT Support Manager, ideally with broad infrastructure anddesktop skills in the Windows domain, to join our team at anexciting time for the company. LearnPro has been formed from threeseparate businesses and as well as conventional Windows support,the IT Support Manager will be involved in all the projects thatbring the teams together. In addition, we are looking to acquireseveral other companies so the IT Manager will have the chance tomerge and migrate IT from new organisations into the group. Thisrole will be varied, interesting, and comes at a pivotal point inLearnPro s growth.

While the company isinternational, internal IT is a very small team right now so youwill have the opportunity to shape things. You will need to coachmore junior support staff, manage outsourced contracts andcommunicate across the business. We also want someone who will growin responsibility and scope as the company grows. The role wouldparticularly suit a skilled systems-support practitioner withexperience in structured practices who wants to grow into a teamlead position with the company, though we are of course open toexperienced applicants from all positions.

Reporting to the CTO, this role will be largely remote butwith some international travel to our Delft office and some travelto our UK offices in Farnborough and Edinburgh, with otherlocations added as we scale. Ideally, the candidate would be basedin the Thames Valley and able to travel into London for occasionalmeetings. Proximity to our Farnborough office would beadvantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operational support and management of allcorporate IT (1st-3rd line) along with gradual inclusion of hostedsystems
• Desktop point of contact for staff
• Liaising with suppliers on IT projects
• Input to architectural direction andtechnology choice
• Occasionally work out ofhours to perform maintenance fixes

• Line management of other IT support staff asneeded
• Manage IT transformation projects, dealwith suppliers, create and track plans, report to the business

Skills and experience - core

• Windows administration andmanagement (AD, GPO, RDP, Domain Trusts, etc.) including Azure AD

• Windows desktop supportexperience
• Office365 Administration
• Networking and firewalls familiarity
• Ability to document work clearly and in goodEnglish
• Experience and familiarity withservice management practices for systems, SLAs and KPIs, e.g. ITILframework

• Experiencewith integration and transformation projects

• MS SQL Server Exposure
