Sales Civil Engineer

Purpose:

Workclosely with the Service Management Manager to develop tools andsolutions to fulfil business and operational needs related toService Assurance Centre. This includes process automation,enhancements, and integration with other OSS/BSSsystems.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop quality assurance tools or solutions based onbusinessrequirements

Interact with other teams to assess new opportunities andparticipate in requirementsgathering

Carry out code development, enhancement andoptimization

Deploy software tools, processes, and implement new automaticscripts andapplications

Manage project delivery with vendors and internalstakeholders

Maintain and upgrade existingsystems

Perform software testing and support the end-to-endprocess

Troubleshoot applications and softwareissues

Solicit user feedback and recommendimprovements

Develop technical documentations to guide future softwaredevelopmentprojects

Requirements

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Studies,Information Technology, orequivalent

1 to 2 years of relevant working experiences in a softwaredevelopmentenvironment

Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, Core Internet Protocols (such asMPLS, DNS, DHCP, RTP, BGP,IS-IS)

Familiar with telecom service assurance processes, networkmonitoring tools andmethodologies

Familiar with network telemetry technology andconcepts

Hands-on experienceswith:

C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Ruby, Perl orPython

Deploying and maintaining LinuxVM

Unix commands and shellscripting

Containers, dockers andKubernetes

Databases (SQL and NoSQL)

Elastic Stack, InfluxDB, Grafana, UIPath, RANCID,Ansible

Demonstrated knowledgeof:

Automation concepts (RPA andAnsible)

Cloudconcepts

DevOps

Source control management/ version control includingGitHub

REST orYAML

Handled full Software Development LifeCycle
