Job Description ForSales Executive(HOZ24795) in DohaQatar. Wyndham is now seeking aSales Executive to join our team at Wyndham Doha West Bay in DohaN/A .Job SummaryThe Sales Manager Level III is responsible foreffectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts inhis/her market segments. He/she is also responsible for prospectingand closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impacthotel revenues.Education & Experience At least 4 years ofprogressive hotel sales experience; or a 4yearcollege degree and atleast 2 year of related experience; or a 2year college degree and 3or more years of related experience. Must have a valid driverslicense in the applicable state. Must be skilled in Windows Companyapproved spreadsheets and word processing. Physical RequirementsLong hours sometimes required. Light work Exerting up to 20 poundsof force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently orconstantly to lift carry push pull or otherwisemove objects. GeneralRequirements Must be able to effectively communicate both verballyand written with all level of employees and guests in an attentivefriendly courteous and service oriented manner. Must be effectiveat listening to understanding and clarifying concerns raised byemployees and guests. Must be able to multitask and prioritizedepartmental functions to meet deadlines. Approach all encounterswith guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous andserviceoriented manner. Attend all hotel required meetings andtrainings. Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required. Maintainregular attendance in compliance with Wyndham Hotels &Resorts Standards as required by scheduling which will varyaccording to the needs of the hotel. Maintain high standards ofpersonal appearance and grooming which include wearing nametags.Comply with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Standards andregulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Maximize efforts towards productivity identify problem areas andassist in implementing solutions. Must be effective in handlingproblems including anticipating preventing identifying and solvingproblems as necessary. Must be able to understand and evaluatecomplex information data etc. from various sources to meetappropriate objectives. Must be able to maintain confidentiality ofinformation. Perform other duties as requested by management.Fundamental Requirements Attend daily Wyndham Business Review (WBR)meeting. Develop a full working knowledge of the operations of thehotel including Food and Beverage Guest Services and Reservations.Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOPs andensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the salesteam. Meet or exceed set goals. Operate the Sales Department withinestablished sales expense budget. Participate in required M.O.D.and Saturday office coverage as scheduled. Initiate and follow upon leads. Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitationprogram. Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trendswithin your market. Regularly contact existing accounts based onthe tracing frequencies of the Account Coverage Program. Meet orexceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director ofSales. Invite clients to the hotel for entertainment lunches toursand site inspections. Assist in implementing special promotionsrelating to direct sales segments i.e.WynClub parties sales blitzesetc. Assist in the preparation of required reports in a timelymanner. Be familiar with all Wyndham sales policies and sellingtechniques with an emphasis on maximizing occupancy and AverageDaily Rate (ADR). Conduct a professional thorough site inspectionof the hotel with clients exhibiting key features and benefits ofthe property. Use your propertys computerized sales managementsystem to manage the hotels business including (but not limited to)generating reports entering business blocking space and buildingaccounts. Meet and greet onsite contacts. Abide by Prime SellingTime (PST). Develop networking opportunities through activeparticipation in community and professional associations activitiesand events. Review meeting planner evaluations with the Director ofSales to ensure that issues receive followup. Entertain clients.Handle inquiries as part of Inquiry Day Program.
