SunshineEnterpriseis currently seeking single and multi-disciplined Building CodeInspectors and Plans Examiners in the Fort Lauderdale, FLmetropolitan statistical area. Primary duties will includeperforming building code inspections and/or plans review (buildingmechanical, electrical, and plumbing as licensed) on residentialand commercial buildings, as well as managing specific projectsrelated to these types of code inspections. Some travel may berequired for inspections and/or managing projects in the assignedarea. The inspector positions are predominately field located butmay occasionally include office assignments, whereas the PlanExaminers positions are primarily office-based.

EssentialFunctions

BuildingCode Review and/or Quality ControlInspections

Preparewritten and electronic reports, and issue notices ofcorrection

Explainand interpret code and/or quality control regulations orrequirements

Recognize,evaluate and properly resolve unique problems orsituations

Maintaineffective customer service relationship with clients and thepublic

Assistthe inspection management team with businessdevelopment

Performother related duties as assigned by theManager

Requirements

Required stateof Florida commercial building inspection license (BN#) inmechanical, and/or electricaldisciplines

BN#for structural, plumbing, and/or 1 & 2 family dwelling(residential combo) are a hugeplus.

3+years experience performing plan review and/orinspections

High Schooldiploma or equivalenteducation

Valid StateDriver s license with clean drivingrecord
