Job Description - Sales Manager - Leisure

Reporting to theDirector of Sales - Leisure and is responsibilities and essentialjob functions include but are not limited to the following.Essential Responsibilities and Duties Job Description - To betotally familiar with hotel products, rates, and promotions at alltimes. - Maintain up to date understanding of company products andrates and involvement in cross selling of these when required. - Toparticipate in preparing the sales action plans, attend salesmeetings; develop new ideas such as special packages, programs,promotional activities undertaken by sales department, F&B,spa and other hotel revenue centers in their specific Markets - Toidentify need periods and offer tactical offers to specifiedmarkets. Participate and coordinate peak period booking campaigns.- Participate in hotel activities including promotions, salesblitzes, entertainment and other operational areas as directed. -Service needs of customers by attending to all requests promptlywithin 24 hours. - Assist the DOS-Leisure in pursuing new marketsegments to secure sales and prepare proposals for consideration. -Preparation, communication and participation in FAM tripgroups/events. - Develop strong, secure and productive businessrelations with all companies within portfolio under the geographic/ market segment allocated. - Positive communication of the hotelimage to existing and potential customer at all times. -International Travel to specific markets. Attend Tradeshow andrepresent the hotel. Arrange for individual sales trips for produteducation and seek out new partnerships
