Reporting to the QatarBranch Manager the Sales Manager will develop and manage therelationship with selected distribution partners (such as brokersagents employee benefit consultants banks etc.) at a local level topromote the organizations propositions and to steer the business todeliver results. Ensures retention of existing portfolioopportunities for growth and improvements of service delivery.
JobAccountabilities
As Sales Manager your role will involve:
Builddevelop and manage relationships with customers/distributors topromote the organizations propositions and implement distributorsterms of business with the organization including negotiation newoffers and closures and terminations whererequired.
Identify opportunities and steerbusiness to deliver sales against customer/profitability targetsand quality measures.
Work closely withcolleagues in other functions (e.g. Proposition Management andDevelopment Marketing Operations) to ensure sales campaigns areexecuted effectively.
Monitor performance ofassigned distributors against set expectations identify performancegaps define actions or make recommendations to the organizationsleadership (e.g. termination ofagreements).
Test and evaluate distributionprocesses and systems and provide recommendations for improvementto facilitate the continuous development of efficient workingpractices.
Maintain oversight of servicedelivery to the customer taking responsibility for escalated casesand providing coaching to other team members to ensure serviceexpectations are fulfilled.
Investigate andassess unusual and/or complex customer/distributor queries orservice requests and/or claims and employ established techniques todetermine an appropriate course ofaction.
Manage the implementation of a projecteither as a small discrete initiative or a defined part of abusiness change program to deliver definedobjectives.
Maintain and renew a deep knowledgeand understanding of the companys risk and compliance policiesrelevant to own area of work highlight discrepancies and escalateor resolve asappropriate.
JobQualifications
To be successful in your role you will need:
Atleast 5 years of experience in relationship/account management andin Financial Services industry
Strong knowledgeof life insurance products
Professionalqualifications such as CII or LOMA would be an addedadvantage
Customercentric
Effective communication and stakeholdermanagement skills
Good problemsolvingskills
Proven ability to work collaborativelyin crossfunctional teams fostering a culture of collaboration andknowledgesharing
