Scaffolding Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise scaffolding crews in the erection, alteration, and dismantling of all types of scaffolding systems (tube & clamp, system scaffolding, mobile towers, etc.).
  

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, risk assessments, and method statements.
  

• Inspect scaffolds daily and maintain scaffold inspection records.
  

• Interpret scaffolding drawings and ensure structures are built to specification.
  

• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure proper use of PPE.
  

• Coordinate with site management and other trades to plan scaffold requirements and access solutions.
  

• Maintain inventory of scaffolding materials and ensure proper storage, transport, and tracking.
  

• Ensure all scaffolding work meets company and client quality standards and relevant codes (e.g., OSHA, BS EN, CISRS).
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or scaffolding certification (e.g., CISRS Supervisor, OSHA Scaffolding Competent Person, SAIA) preferred.
  

• 5+ years of scaffolding experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  

• Deep knowledge of scaffolding systems, load capacities, and safety procedures.
