Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate will have strong presentational and technical skills and be able to support the accounting functions with the following responsibilities:

• Maintain the fixed assets register and ensure that fixed assets are recorded, recognized, depreciated, capitalized and disposed of in accordance with IFRS.
• Review the monthly depreciation of fixed assets and post the required adjustments.
• Perform the annual review of impairment of fixed assets.
• Lead the closing process and ensure that accounts payable and accounts Receivable transactions are reconciled with the general ledger.
• Ensure that trial balance accounts are reconciled and prepare the financial statements.
• Ensure that all invoices are received, processed and paid according to the approved policies and procedures.
• Ensure that expenses, prepayments and accruals are properly recorded.
• Ability to coordinate the audits.
• Hands on experience in ERP systems.

Qualifications

• More than 6 years of experience with recognized firms.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• Professional qualification is mandatory.
• Languages spoken: Arabic and English
