ESSENTIALDUTIES

requiredto perform other related duties, as assigned, including crosstraining across other departments, asnecessary.

Manages the processes for preparation of consolidated financialstatements for the company in conformity with generally acceptedaccountingprinciples

Ensures that accounting and reporting policies are followed andconform to general practices within the bankingindustry

Reviews and determines correct accounting estimates, which are anintegral part of the financialstatements

Manages the external financial reporting activities to assureintegrity, timeliness and conformity to applicable lawsand

regulations(OCC, FDIC and other applicable federal and state bankingauthorities)

Manages internal financial reporting and analyticalactivities

Evaluates & manages the effectiveness of internal controlsrelative to financialaccounting

Coordinates examinations by independent public accountants,prepares statements for financialaudit

Integral in the preparation of financial budgets for thecompany

Manages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating andcounseling of reportingstaff

Participates in job specific training and other various Banktraining programs, asnecessary

Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and lossprevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customeractivity per Bank policy, and ensures adherence by the respectivedepartmentpersonnel

Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and statelaws and regulations and all established Bank policies andprocedures, including internal audit controls related to departmentoperations, and ensures adherence by the respective departmentpersonnel

Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws asthey apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and ensuresadherence by the respective departmentpersonnel

QUALIFICATIONS

A self-starting team player who possesses a BBA in Accounting orFinance and is a Certified Public Accountant(CPA)

Musthave a minimum of five years in public accounting related directlyto the Commercial Banking industry or ten years of comparableBanking industry experience in commercial bank accounting,financial reporting, andanalytics.

Strong managerial skills and the ability to guide and direct agroup of officers and employees areessential

Must be PC literate, have strong Excel spreadsheet and budgetingsoftwareskills

Problem solving skills and the ability to make sound financialdecisions, as well as flexibility andprofessionalism

Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration arerequired, as well as the ability to change quickly from one task toanother

Goodorganizational, interpersonal, and communications skills are alsorequired

Must be able to meet deadlines, work in a fast paced environment,and perform a variety of tasks with numerousinterruptions

Bilingual in English and Spanish isdesired
