Senior Data Governance Analyst

• Gather, analyze, and visualize data metrics using data analytics, modeling techniques, and BI technologies to improve business efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead the creation, maintenance, and reporting of data-driven insights to inform business strategy and operations.
• Develop and implement data-based guidelines, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive organizational change.
• Analyze complex situations and derive effective solutions.
• Challenge existing processes to enhance business value.
• Implement and maintain data governance frameworks for quality, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Establish data stewardship roles and facilitate collaboration to ensure data integrity.

Skills

• Expertise in DBMS tools and SQL programming.
• Proficiency in BI visualization tools.
• Strong ability to manage and organize large datasets, including data modeling, architecture, quality, and integration.
• Skill in implementing data quality processes, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement and consensus building.
• Highly motivated with strong leadership skills.
• Effective team management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience in data quality management, information architecture, and data governance.
• Experience managing enterprise data assets in large, complex organizations.
• At least 7 years of experience in BI, with a minimum of 5 years in the Telecom, Financial, or Technology sectors.
• Strong knowledge or certification in data visualization tools, and expertise in managing and querying databases using SQL.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive committees (Exco) and cross-functional teams.
