Job Profile: Presales Engineer - Cloud Technology (Microsoft, Google, Oracle)
Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled Presales Engineer with expertise in Cloud Technology, particularly Microsoft, Google, and Oracle products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a deep understanding of cloud solutions, and proficiency in crafting technical proposals and customized solutions. As a Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative solutions, creating compelling proposals, and actively participating in pricing strategies for our cloud offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Solution Design and Proposal Development:
- Collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams to comprehend client requirements for cloud technology, encompassing Microsoft, Google, and Oracle products.
- Develop comprehensive, innovative, and tailored technical solutions that align with clients' unique business objectives.
- Create detailed technical proposals that effectively communicate the benefits, features, and value of our cloud offerings.
- Technical Expertise:
- Possess an in-depth understanding of cloud technologies, with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud.
- Stay current with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in cloud computing and related software products.
- Pricing Strategy:
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to contribute to the development of competitive and profitable pricing models for proposed cloud solutions.
- Analyze cost components, licensing models, and value-added services to guide effective pricing strategies.
- Presales Support:
- Engage in client meetings and presentations to provide technical insights and solutions for cloud technology inquiries.
- Address technical questions and concerns, leveraging your expertise to build client confidence.
- Client Relationship Building:
- Establish strong client relationships, acting as a technical advisor to understand their cloud requirements, application needs, and business goals.
- Provide consultative guidance on technical solutions that align with clients' objectives.
- Customized Solutions:
- Develop tailored solutions that address specific client use cases, application requirements, and integration possibilities.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical specialists, to ensure alignment of proposals, solutions, and pricing strategies.
- Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify differentiation points and strengths of our cloud solutions compared to competitors.
- Training and Development:
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of cloud technologies, software products, and industry trends.
- Stay updated with relevant certifications and training programs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (+6 years) in presales, technical proposal writing, and solution design within the cloud technology domain.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to translate complex cloud concepts into client-oriented solutions.
- Proficiency in creating persuasive technical proposals and presentations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications in cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud, are highly desirable.
- Previous experience in GCC
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: QAR1.00 - QAR10.00 per month
