Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training\:
- Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage
Industry Specific Experience\:
- Extensive work experience in onshore projects at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Must have experience of working with multidisciplinary teams
- Must have well developed engineering planning skills
- Preferably Middle East experience
- Experience working with an international engineering consultancy
- Experience in interface management with Statutory authorities and external stakeholders
- Strong experience in brownfield environment
- Mandatory experience in Pre-FEED and FEED phase

Key Responsibilities
- Builds positive working relationships with external parties such as the customer, suppliers, and contractors.
- Proactively resolve performance, scope, cost and schedule issues with the Client as they arise.
- Ability to identify and achieve the optimal technical and commercial position within the job context
- Monitor design activities, interdisciplinary data flow and communications.
- Responsible for design basis, design scopes and subsequent performance
- Manage, technical evaluations, risks identification, mitigation & control, project deliverables review, scope control & managing project variations, recovery planning, construction, commissioning, & project handover.
- Prepare Project Scope Statement.
- Design reviews and technical review meetings are scheduled, well documented and actions closed out.
- Client approvals are achieved without delay or rework.
- Consistently achieve above average client satisfaction rating for technical delivery.
- Management of disciplines to achieve scope completion at or below budget.
- Prompt claims identification, quantification and justification provided to project manager.
