• 2year degree froman accredited university in Business Administration Marketing Hoteland Restaurant Management or related major; 2 years experience inthe sales and marketing or related professionalarea.

• 4yearbachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Hotel andRestaurant Management or related major; no work experiencerequired

Building Successful Relationships thatGenerate SalesOpportunities

• Workscollaboratively with offproperty sales channels to ensure salesefforts are coordinated complementary and notduplicative.

• Builds andstrengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enablefuture bookings. Activities include participating on sales callsentertainment FAM trips trade showsetc.

• Developsrelationships within community to strengthen and expand customerbase for salesopportunities.

• Assistswith managing and developing relationships with key internal andexternalstakeholders.

• Providesaccurate complete and effective turnover to EventManagement.

Managing SalesActivities

• Participates insales calls with members of sales team to acquire new businessand/or close onbusiness.

• Supports theoperational aspects of business booked (e.g. generating proposalwriting contract customercorrespondence).

Using Knowledge of Market Trends andTarget Customer Information to MaximizeRevenue

• Identifies newbusiness to achieve personal and location revenuegoals.

• Understands theoverall market competitors strengths and weaknesses economic trendssupply and demand etc. and knows how to sell againstthem.

• Assists in closingthe best opportunities for the location based on market conditionsand location needs.

• Gainsunderstanding of the locations primary target customer and serviceexpectations; serves the customer by understanding their businessbusiness issues and concerns to offer better businesssolution.
