Job Description - Service Delivery Duty Officer

In this interesting role, you will be responsible to contro the day-to-day running of Service Delivery Department. Ensure the smooth running of operations, the management of the department in relation to safety management, cost control, resource planning and operational change management and reporting. Delivers the best in - class service as outlines by the customer SLAs. Responsible for department performance monitoring and improvements initiatives implementation, including staff performance management and improvement plan. Ensure fleet maintenance programmes are ahered to by coordinating with QACC maintenance services proviers. 

To achieve success in this role you will need to:

  • Responsible for implementation of management instructions including customer service, aircraft delivery and handling, food safety, quality control and security measures
  • Liaises with airline represenatives to ensure the policies/procedures relevant to operation are implemented as planned 
  • Ensure maximum productivity by implementing proper staff rosters (supply) for the department that match the work requirements (demand)
  • Ensure that all discrepancies are reported, investigated and Duty Managers and Head of the Department (HOD) are updated of the action taken
  • Ensure that all staff are briefed, acknowledge and comply with work procedures relevant to the department
  • Manage the departments's overtime within the agreed metrics, plus maintaining department KPIs
  • Reviews current procedures, develops and implements new systems and procedures to improve efficiency of the department to follow LEAN principles

    Qualifications

    High School Qualification / Vocational Qualifcation / Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with minimum 4 years of job - related experience.

    Job Specific Skills:   

    Essential:

  • HACCP Certification or Related Training 
  • Sound Computer Knowledge
  • Good communication and in writing English
  • Excellent knowledge of flight catering operation
  • Managerial Skills
