The Payroll Administratorperforms all activities regarding the management of employeetimekeeping. This role requires a person to be experienced inentering data with attention to detail and understands theimportance of the confidentiality of financial and personalinformation. The ideal payroll admin is a thorough professionalwith good communication skills.
EssentialFunctions:
- Verifypayroll hours, commission/bonus, and payroll templates for morethan 700+ employees on a bi-weeklybasis.
- Maintainthe payroll system with current employeedata.
- Collecting,inputting, and verifying timekeeping information for allemployees.
- Importpayroll template data toPaylocity.
- Applymanual adjustments regarding compensation (bonuses, changes,deductions, PTO, overtime,etc.).
- Answeringemployee questions, help desk tickets, and concerns regardingpayroll.
- Respondto requests for information from various internal and externalpartners.
- Allother ad-hoc projects and filing linked to Human Resources andpayrollprocesses.
- Assistwith the processing of child support orders andgarnishments.
- Performother duties asassigned

- Abilityto communicate and interact with all levels of the company both onan individual basis and ingroups
- Bachelors degree in accounting, or equivalent payroll administrationexperiencerequired
- 3+years of proven, relevant experience in payroll processing in afast-pacedorganization
- Experiencein automotive repair industry preferred, but notrequired
