Description The Senior Landscape Engineer will play a crucial role in the QA GEC Supervision department, overseeing the entire lifecycle of landscape and public realm works within the GEC Framework projects. This role is responsible for ensuring that all landscape projects are executed with precision, adhering to project specifications, quality standards, environmental regulations, and client expectations. The engineer will work closely with a team of professionals to maintain the highest standards of safety and sustainability throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities
Lead the design review process, providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
Supervise construction activities, conducting regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions for landscape challenges.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing to verify that landscape works meet the required standards and specifications.
Prepare and maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation related to landscape projects.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainable practices throughout the construction process.
Provide regular updates to clients, keeping them informed about the progress and any critical issues.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape engineering.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in landscape design, construction, and supervision, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Proficiency in landscape design software and CAD tools is essential.
Excellent knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
Valid professional engineering license or equivalent certification.
Experience in working on large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
Familiarity with sustainable design principles and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
