Specialist Cardiac Anesthesia- Private Healthcare sector

SearchPlus HR is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Specialist in Cardiac Anesthesia to join a leading Private Healthcare sector organization. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert anesthesia care to patients undergoing complex cardiac surgical procedures.

The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, develop tailored anesthesia plans, administer anesthesia during cardiac surgeries, and monitor patients closely throughout the perioperative period. You will collaborate with a team of surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and positive surgical outcomes.

Requirements:

• Medical degree with specialization in Anesthesiology
• Board certification or equivalent in Cardiac Anesthesia preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in cardiac anesthesia in a clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology, pharmacology, and anesthesia techniques
• Proficiency in intraoperative monitoring and management of cardiac patients
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams
• Ability to perform well under pressure and in emergency situations
