Specialist Subject Teachers for a British School (Doha, Qatar)

For academic year 2023 – 2024, on behalf of a long-standing independent British school which branched out in Doha (Qatar) a few years ago, we are currently seeking full-time supremely-experienced specialist subject teachers having taught the British National Curriculum at top-of-the-league independent schools in the U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, America, the Middle East, etc.:

- Early Years.

- Primary Education.

- Secondary Education.

The Doha-based entity is a co-educational independent day school that aims at carrying on delivering academic excellence where pastoral care is valued whilst offering a wide range of extra-curricular activities to its pupils.

In the U.K., this British school has received multiple accolades and accreditations through the years. In Qatar, the school boasts of state-of-the-art facilities catering for pupils ranging from 3 to 18 years old: modern facilities, interactive boards, swimming-pool, gym facilities, impressive science labs, music.

The school offers nursery & pre-prep teaching through to IGCSE and A-level examinations.

The positions are based in Doha, Qatar. Teachers must be experienced (at least 3 years) and must hold recognised teaching qualifications. More information about those roles will be disclosed in due course / over the summer as they are still currently being discussed.

Requirements

On top of your teaching qualifications that are absolutely mandatory to apply, you may hold, at least, one of the following:

- Bachelor’s Degree: BA., BEd., BSc.

- Master’s Degree.

- PGCE or globally-recognised similar teaching qualifications.

- PGDE.

- SEND

- CAPES.

- Agrégation.

- Ivy-league universities, USA.

- Degree(s), from any reputable institutions recognized worldwide.

Skills required

- Teamwork and working collaboratively.

- Supremely-superior level of English.

- Supremely-superior level of Arabic for Arabic-led subjects.

- Able to teach the complexities of a core subject with natural ease.

- Tech-savvy.

Mandatory

- Experience in teaching the British National Curriculum.
- Degree(s).
- DBS (police check).
