Sr. Construction Supervisor

Qualificationx Degree (or) Diploma in mechanical Engineering Discipline with extensive constructionrelated experience.Experiencex A minimum of (12) years’ experience in relevant offshore construction and installationactivities in projects of oil & gas industry.x Experience in and steel structure installation and commissioning of Offshore Projects.x Good knowledge in piping and mechanical installation and commissioning.x Good knowledge of lifting activities to assess the lifting plan and lifting operation.x Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices, systems,processes and standards.x Understanding of construction techniques for various types of work especially theconstruction and commissioning activities in Green, brown fields and Well Head Jackets.x Good skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution.x Exposure to works by associated disciplinesx Computer literate. Good communication and writing skills.x Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety andenvironmental awareness.x Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, lifting plan, inspection and testplans, construction schedules and drawings.x Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.x Ability to supervise, cooperate and coordinate with multi-national and multi-culturalcontractor workforce.Primary Duties and Responsibilitiesx Monitor, control and report Contractor’s performance, man-power deployment, plant andequipment’s movements, construction slippages etc.x Conduct daily and weekly meeting with Contractors involving all discipline supervisors,QA/QC Inspectors and HSE advisors and address/resolve issues hindering progress.x Act as the construction Risk Management representative to identify Construction Riskevents, the effects & consequences, propose mitigation measures and take ownership toensure mitigation measures have been implemented at site.ATTACHMENT

?CONTROLLEDx Review and forward to management daily and weekly construction progress reports forassigned projects and verify contractor's progress statements for accuracy.x Liaise with senior discipline engineers throughout all phases of the project for allconstruction related matters including inputs during the detailed engineering andprocurement stages.x Participate in reviewing detailed design drawings, method statements, materialrequisitions, material receipt inspection etc.x Review contractors’ construction plans, schedules, method statements, proceduresincluding offshore logistics.x Supervise and approve construction activities and co-ordinate various aspects of projectconstruction including material, work and testing inspections in fabrication yard, materialsubmissions and working drawings from contractor and processing documentation asrequired.x Check and ensure that all construction works are completed in accordance with approvedstandards and consistent with contract specifications.x Coordinate the MCC walk through, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities withcontractor, vendors and end users.x Maintain a daily record of progress noting special comments. Reports to supervisor workanomalies or contractual deviations committed by contractor personnel and recommendcorrective actions.x Monitor and control of Client work permits to ensure that contractor compliancewith conditions fixed on consolidated work permits.x Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of contractors, sub-contractors and vendorsto offshore sites following the contract award.x Interact and interface with other contractors, projects, departments regularly to identifyand resolve all construction related matters especially liaison with Production andMaintenance departments.x Under the general supervision of Head, Construction; initiate decisions on the projectissues within the framework of respective contract documents, clientProcedures/guidelines, in close coordinate and concurrence with the project team.x Takes responsibility for all matters outside of normal client working hours duringconstruction phases of the project.x Accountable for efficiently managing site construction activities leading to construction,pre-commissioning in accordance with client’s policies and procedures.x Alert PMT of anticipated construction slippage and provide inputs for corrective actionsand implement as required
