Key Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver a high standard of daily swim lessons during after-school Artemex sessions.
- Assist with the delivery of PE curriculum lessons where needed.
- Follow the set scheme of work to deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Artemex curriculum.
- Continually monitor and assess swimmers, progressing swimmers to the next stage when ready.
- Complete end-of-term progress reports for all swimmers.
- Complete daily lesson plans in line with the scheme of work showing progressive practices.
- Complete daily admin tasks such as email communication to parents and updating of registers.
- Deliver alternative lessons such as parent and baby classes, adult learn to swim, and adult fitness sessions.
- Delivery of holiday camps including multi-sports activities.
- Help with Artemex promotions and promotional activities.
- Undertake any additional duties required by the line manager.
Desired Experience Includes:
- 2 years experience teaching swimming to a range of ages and abilities.
- Proven record of being able to progress swimmers through stages/levels.
- Experience in teaching adults.
- Experience in delivering parent and baby classes.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Experience in customer service including emails and phone calls.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
The position is full time, with a 1-year renewable contract. The total salary will be in the region of £19,000 - 20,000 yearly tax-free (experience and exchange rate dependent) with free accommodation or housing allowance provided in addition. Benefits also include sponsorship/visa costs, private medical insurance and an annual flight allowance.
