About the role:
• Pro-actively supports the MATAR Program Manager on assigned project/s with end to end project co-ordination involving both internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to create high and low level project plans, and accurately create project trackers for the purpose of tracking project status and progress.
• Work with the technical team(s) to prepare RFQ specifications, BOQ, budgetary pricing, CAPEX/ OPEX, CMC initiation, preparation of Technical Evaluation Reports. To ensure these are addressed in a timely manner, where required engage with MATAR Finance and Procurement.
• Organizes, attends and participating in stakeholder meetings.
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
• Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
About you:
Qualifications and Experience:
Without a Degree:
· High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience.
OR
With a Degree:
· Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
§ Solid end to end IT infrastructure knowledge
§ Excellent understanding of project management methodology and strong documentation skills (RFI’s RFQ’s
§7-10 years of experience in IT projects, of which preferably 2 years should be in independently leading and management of large IT infrastructure Projects.
§ Working Knowledge of Airport IT Infrastructure
§ Hands-on experience in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio.
§7-10 years of experience in IT projects, of which preferably 2 years should be in independently leading.
§ ITIL certification.
§ Awareness of ISO 20000/27000 process and best practices.
§ Must have the ability, knowledge and skills to influence teams to ensure quality of all deliverables.
