Teacher of Design Technology

We are looking to appoint an experienced,dynamic and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher with theability to teach from KS3 to A Level, specialising in productdesign and preferably with some experience of electronics, systemsand control and CAD/CAM. Design and Technology is a vibrant andcontinuously changing subject as well as a rapidly developingsubject in the College, with a range of new technologies andprojects being introduced.

The department iswell-resourced and supported and follows a balanced Design andTechnology programme at Key Stage 3, broadly in line with theNational Curriculum. At Key Stage 4, students can opt to take CIEProduct Design, whilst at A Level, students follow the Pearson ALevel Product Design specification.

All ourclassrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards; studentsreceive iPads upon joining the school, whilst teachers receive bothan iPad and laptop.
