Teacher of Secondary Spanish

We are looking for anexperienced, enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated, UKqualified, Secondary Spanish Teacher to join our rapidly expandingschool. Suitable candidates will be able to offer Spanish to i/GCSEand A Level. This position isalso a great opportunity for experienced teachers to advance, asthere are opportunities for career progression for candidates withthe desired skills and qualities.Successful applicants must have:• A certified UK teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, orPGCE • A Bachelor s Degree in Spanish. •Exceptional subject knowledge, with extensive experience ofteaching the British National Curriculum in Key Stages 3, Key Stage4 and Key Stage 5 • Recent experience teaching i/GCSE andAS/A level Spanish (preferably with either Cambridge or PearsonInternational Examinations) .• A desire to help build athriving department in a new girls school. • A proventrack record of providing outstanding teaching and learning.• Knowledge of how to differentiate teaching materials sothat all pupils have an opportunity to access the curriculum.• A willingness to take part in extra-curricular teachingafter school (in this instance these hours would be part of theteachers timetabled hours each week) Desirable qualities:• A willingness and ability to teach French to KS2 (Years4 and above) classes. • Experience of teaching pupils withEnglish as an Additional Language or English as a Second Language.• Experience of integrating technology into secondaryteaching. • Experience of, or an understanding of how STEMeducation can be integrated into the secondary curriculum• Recent UK experience and previous international teachingexperience.
