Job Description - Technical Team Lead

Technical Team Lead 



Job Summary 
The Technical Team Lead is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise in the integration, troubleshooting, and optimisation of telematics and control systems for emergency fleets. This role will focus on technical operations, product improvement, and project execution. The Technical Team Lead will work closely with the Regional Director and the Global Customer Service Manager to ensure alignment between customer needs and technical solutions. 




Key Responsibilities 
Technical Leadership: 



  • Provide support and training to Acetech technicians.



  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex issues related to telematics and control systems. 



  • Lead the integration and customisation of telematics solutions to meet specific customer requirements as per standards set out by Acetech.  



  • Develop and implement processes for troubleshooting, installation, calibration, and testing of products. 



  • Conduct field tests and evaluations to ensure optimal product performance and reliability. 



  • Collaborate with R&D teams to provide feedback from field operations and influence product enhancements. 



 
Project Execution: 



  • Oversee technical aspects of large-scale projects, ensuring deliverables meet specifications, timelines, and budgets. 



  • Create detailed technical documentation such as service reports, installation guides, and troubleshooting protocols. 



  • Develop automated testing procedures and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups to improve efficiency in field operations. 



 
Continuous Improvement: 



  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within field application engineering operations. 



  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform technical strategies. 



 
Collaboration with the Regional Director / Customer Service Manager : 



  • Maintain regular communication with the Regional Director / Customer Service Manager  to align on customer priorities and share insights from technical operations. 



  • Support account management efforts by providing technical expertise during customer reviews and strategic planning discussions.
