Welding Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Welding Engineer with a valid International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification and a strong background in offshore projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing welding activities, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting the integrity of welded structures in challenging offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and related documentation.
  

• Supervise welding activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  

• Provide technical support to fabrication and installation teams.
  

• Conduct welding inspections and support NDT activities offshore.
  

• Coordinate with QA/QC, project, and client teams to resolve welding-related issues.
  

Requirements

• Valid IWE certification.
  
  
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in welding engineering, with proven offshore experience.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of offshore fabrication, materials, and welding codes.
  
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Willingness to work offshore as required.
