WELL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Job Purpose
Implement wellwork operations in the company's production and injection wells, meeting the Company’s target and in the most cost effective manner, while maintaining the highest level of safety, environmental and security compliance

Key Job Accountabilities 
Implement all types of wellwork activities in the company's wells (either offshore or onshore) ensuring a safe, reliable and efficient operation
Implement any technologically complex rigless wellwork
Ensure proper programs, procedures and guidelines are followed to ensure safe and efficient wellwork operation. Identify any significant findings during wellwork activities, report to Head of Well Operations or Offshore Operations. Propose troubleshooting actions and implement remedial measures to rectify problems. Propose for deviation, if needed, for review and approval. Report any abnormalities during the operation. Raise Incident Reports for any abnormal incidents
Arranging for equipment and personnel mobilization and demobilization. Coordinating between contractors and the company's related divisions. To support well intervention division tasks whenever is required
Check equipment, tools and consumables at the site to ensure they are fit for purpose and of adequate quantity. Advise Well Engineering team on time in the event of any discrepancy or shortfall to ensure zero downtime and to ensure that the wellwork schedule is not adversely
affected

Conduct Last Minute Risk Assessment to ensure all risks are mitigated and are within acceptable limits. Conduct regular Tool Box Talks to ensure all crewmembers understand the operation and is aware of any potential risk and the mitigation measures
Analyze acquired subsurface logging raw data to ensure it meets the job objective. Maintain detailed record of the operation. Compile daily reports in Well View in a timely manner to ensure all the relevant wellwork data and information is captured
Imp lement well handover process in a safe and efficient way prior to or after any rigless well work operation. Develop continuous awareness of the company's Incident and Injury Free (IIF) Safety Culture to contractor and service personnel to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
Develop a strong awareness of blowout prevention among the rigless well work crew & maintain a blowout prevention condition all the time to avoid any well control incident during any rigless well work operation
Maintain all time readiness for responding to any well control incident. Implement the company's Well Control Plan Emergency Response Plan during a well control incident, if any, as deputy on scene commander to ensure a prompt response during the incident. Conduct well control drills to ensure all rigless crewmembers are aware of the response actions during a well control incident
Coordinate with Onshore and Offshore Operations, Maintenance Project teams, Drilling & Coordinate with Onshore and Offshore Operations, Maintenance Project teams, Drilling & Completions, Petroleum Engineering, SEQ, Warehouse and other disciplines Completions, Petroleum Engineering, SEQ, Warehouse and other disciplines to maximize well to maximize well utilization, to minimize well downtime and to avoid undue expenses utilization, to minimize well downtime and to avoid undue expenses.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Natural Gas, Mechanical)Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Natural Gas, Mechanical)
8 years’ experience in wellwork operations in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years’ 8 years’ experience in wellwork operations in the oil and gas industry, including at least 5 years’ experience in rigless wellwork operations, either offshore or onshore wells experience in rigless wellwork operations, either offshore or onshore wells.
Wellwork experience in high pressure, high temperature, and toxic gas wells in Wellwork experience in high pressure, high temperature, and toxic gas wells in offshore offshore environment is preferred environment is preferred.

Knowledge of software applications related to subsurface data acquisitions (Well View, Emraude, Knowledge of software applications related to subsurface data acquisitions (Well View, Emraude, SaphirSaphir))
