Chemical Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing chemical processes and equipment. You will also be involved in conducting research, analyzing data, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop chemical processes, equipment, and systems.
2. Conduct research to identify new chemical processes and technologies.
3. Analyze data and conduct experiments to improve existing processes and equipment.
4. Monitor and optimize chemical production processes to ensure efficiency and safety.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new processes and equipment.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
7. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
8. Document and maintain accurate records of all experimental data and processes.
9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in chemical engineering technology and industry best practices.
10. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in chemical engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles and practices.
4. Experience with process simulation software.
5. Extensive knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
