Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description: Meddy is seeking a hardworking and driven Accounts Payable professional to join our remote team in Doha, Qatar. As an entry-level Accounts Payable specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, and maintaining vendor relationships. This part-time position offers opportunities for growth and development in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely manner. - Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. - Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. - Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes.

Requirements: - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. - No prior experience required, but willingness to learn and grow in the role.
