Accountant

Job Description:

Katara Hospitality is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis in Doha, Qatar. As an entry-level accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the financial activities of the company and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze financial statements - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable - Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts - Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial reports - Provide support for audits and financial analysis - Maintain financial records and documentation - Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial compliance and accuracy - Implement innovative solutions to improve financial processes

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 1 year of experience in accounting or finance - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Persuasion and negotiation skills - Innovation and creativity in financial analysis
