Accountant

Job Description:

As an Accountant at Qatar Science & Technology Park, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance with financial regulations. Your role will also involve assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, and conducting financial audits.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports. 2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. 3. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. 4. Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations. 5. Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation. 6. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports. 7. Monitor and analyze financial data and provide insights to management. 8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met. 9. Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions. 10. Provide support for financial transactions and projects as needed.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 2. CPA or ACCA certification preferred. 3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance. 4. Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices. 5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 9. Adaptable and motivated with a strong work ethic. 10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 11. Ability to think creatively and innovate in a fast-paced environment.
