Remote Accountant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Remote Accountant to join our team at Qatar Electricity & Water Company. This part-time position is at the Associate level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting. As a Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities: - Manage financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable - Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Analyze financial data and provide insights to stakeholders - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Provide support for audits and tax preparation - Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or similar certification preferred - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software - Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Experience in a remote work environment is a plus
