Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Remote Accounts Payable Associate to join our team at Qatar Biobank. As a part-time member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process remotely. This includes processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities: - Review and verify invoices for accuracy - Process invoices electronically in the accounting system - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues - Prepare and process payments via check or electronic transfer - Maintain accurate and organized financial records - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and efficiency - Adhere to company policies and procedures for accounts payable

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Strong project management skills - Excellent persuasion skills to communicate effectively with vendors - Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred - Must be detail-oriented and organized - Ability to work remotely and manage workload effectively
