Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Woqod, a leading energy company based in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Remote Accounts Payable associate, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounts payable processes remotely. This includes processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process payments to vendors - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end closing processes - Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries - Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Reliable and resourceful personality traits - Strong planning and decision-making skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Experience working remotely is a plus
