Accounts Payable - Work from home

Job Description:

Qatar Airways Cargo is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our team in a remote, part-time position. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests - Match invoices to purchase orders and obtain proper approvals - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process weekly check runs - Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records - Assist with month-end closing activities - Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner - Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and approval of invoices - Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Independent and resourceful problem solver - Critical thinking and analysis skills - Ability to work effectively in a remote environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
