Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team at Al Jazeera Media Network in Doha, Qatar. The Accounts Receivable Associate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. This is a part-time position with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments from clients.

Responsibilities: - Generate and send out invoices to clients - Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments - Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy - Prepare monthly financial reports related to accounts receivable - Process credit card payments and other forms of electronic payments - Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes - Collaborate with other departments to resolve outstanding payment issues - Maintain documentation and records related to accounts receivable - Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines - Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic - Strong research skills and attention to detail
